Lidl stores typically have just one or two HGV deliveries per day, increasing at peak times like Christmas and Easter. All recycling and waste is taken away on the return journey, reducing the number of vehicles. Lidl has recently been named Grocer of the Year at The Grocer Gold Awards 2025.
